Collection: Beans on Toast

Please welcome the one and only Beans on Toast to the Marshall Musik Family! We are over the moon about working with the legendary musician.

Praise for Toothpaste in the tube -

Beans doesn’t preach optimism or pessimism—he simply holds a mirror to society through storytelling. Reminiscent of New York’s antifolk scene, The Toothpaste and the Tube blends sharp lyricism with folk, blues, and funk. A true troubadour, Jay kicks off the album with Back Out on the Road, a post-COVID love letter to touring. While tracks like Hope & Glory echo the bleak realism of I, Daniel Blake, moments of joy shine through in The Dragicorn and The Golden Lion.

Beans has a rare gift—his music makes me feel seen. The world is changing, for better or worse, but instead of dwelling on what we can't fix, let’s focus on what we can. As the album’s second track reminds us, there's still Work to Do.
